How to make the best of bad weather on holiday

If you have chosen to holiday in the UK then you may have to expect bad weather. We have been very lucky over the last few months with some beautiful hot days but the last week or so has seen a drop in the temperature and some wetter weather approaching.

If you are camping then you will have to be even more prepared for the colder wetter weather. You need to take plenty of warm clothing that can be layered and also take a number of different foot ware options. Wellies are perfect for camping but you may need more than one pair as often one pair will get wet and take a number of days to dry out.

There is no point sitting in your tent or caravan moaning about the weather, it is best to get out and try and still have some fun. Why not wrap up warm in your waterproofs and head down to the beach. If you are holidaying with young children then they will often think there is nothing better. They are usually quite happy to play in the sand and paddle in the sea come rain or shine.
