Fuerteventura is a Spanish Island just off the coast of Africa. It is the perfect setting for a family holiday all year round. With temperatures rarely dropping below 18 degrees, even in the winter months it is relatively pleasant.
There is a wealth of activities to do and sights to see on the island as well as exploring the vast shorelines and blue seas. The island can get a bit breezy so in the evenings you may need a cardi or a light jacket. The cool breeze allows you to spend a little bit longer in the sun without being over whelmed with the heat, but beware that the UV factor is often very high even when its breezy so it’s essential you wear a high factor sun cream.
There is often activities for the children to do at the resort and most have a children’s pool as well as a small play area. Be sure to do your research to find out which resorts have the right facilities for you.
If going with children you may want to go all-inclusive so they can eat and drink when they want to without it costing the earth, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the towns if you do opt for self catering.
